The GENESIS developement environment has successfully been installed on the following operating systems.

Linux platforms

Mac platforms

• OSX Leopard (32-bit) with Python 2.5
• OSX Leopard (32-bit) with Python 2.6
• OSX Snow Leopard (32-bit) with Python 2.6
• OSX Snow Leopard (64-bit) with Python 2.6 (Python must be compiled for 64 bit as well)
