This directory contains scripts for various contributed channel (ionic conductance) models that have been implemented with GENESIS. Note that most GENESIS channel models are contained within the GENESIS distribution in Scripts/neurokit/prototypes.
Clchan - This directory and the gzipped tar file Clchan.tar.gz contains a GENESIS model of the unusual calcium-dependent chloride channel (Kurahashi and Yau, 1994) of the olfactory sensory neurons. This model channel was used in the simulation of a vertebrate receptor cell of the olfactory epithelium (Simoes-de-Souza and Roque, 2002). Contributed by Fabio Marques Simoes de Souza.
