    with other nodes which is not accounted for by the
    preceding categories
• PGENESIS_EVENT
  • time spent handling incoming spikes
• PGENESIS
  • time spent in PGENESIS not accounted for by the
    preceding overhead categories. (In other words the
    time spent doing useful work.)
